The Fairy Tale Of The Bright-Eyed Business Owner
Have you heard The Fairy Tale Of The Bright-Eyed Business Owner before?
Well..
Once upon a time there was a Bright-Eyed Business Owner who was trying to get to the Craved Castle.
*You know, that happy place which is the reason you are ultimately in business?
But as you begin you journey, you come across lots of Conniving Competitors along the path!
And these Conniving Competitors offer the same products or services you do.
*Let’s face it very few are offering a truly unique and different solution, even those with patents.
Now the Conniving Competitors drop prices to get work from you.
Who could blame them?
It’s the easiest way to get customers and clients when you are the cheapest.
But the problem is, there is no strategic advantage to be second cheapest – only one vendor can hold that position.
So, what does everyone do?
Discount until there is no margin left and no one makes any profit.
This is not good for you, The Bright-Eyed Business Owner.
Failing that, what else do vendors do?
Scream, “we are better than the rest!”
Or, “We are…
- Faster;
- Stronger;
- Easier;
- Greener;
- Larger;
- Etc…”
They all end in “er.”
And anything ending in “er” is an improvement on what exists already.
And the problem with offering an improvement is, it requires a prospect to admit that the current product, service or solution that have chosen, is wrong.
Very few people are going to admit they are wrong as it shows they made a poor decision!
Unless you are a master at helping people save face.
Again, very few vendors can do that.
So, what is the alternative for our Bright-Eyed Business Owner?
The way around that is offering something different.
A change or a swap from what exists already in the market.
In other words, changing or swapping a prospects current product, service or solution with something different, new or novel.
A magical unicorn if you will.
But making your product, service or solution truly unique is hard.
But, really it’s not…
You need to find the two magic potions referred to as:
- “The 3 Ways To Sell To Customers;” and
- “The 5 Ways To Make A Valuable Product”.
Then you need to find the “How To Make A Value Based Product” recipe without the Conniving Competitors thwarting your efforts!
And when you mix the potions together in the right order, a rainbow appears, and the Conniving Competitors disappear.
And the Bright-Eyed Business Owner makes it to the Craved Castle and lives happily ever after.
Now you can get magic potions and recipe here.
